Step 3: What to Say:
When reaching out to these contacts, feel free to copy and paste the text below:
Dear [XXXX},
I hope you are doing well. My name is [XXXX] and I am currently a [XXXX] year student on campus. It has never been more important to help students like myself build meaningful social connections. These relationships are a part of what makes being on campus so special.
Students like myself have been experiencing difficulty creating the kinds of social connections we want while in school. In researching ways to help, I came across the Nod App, which is designed to help college students create meaningful relationships whether on campus or online. I would appreciate you taking time to review their information and published research, as I think it would be valuable to help students like myself.
If helpful, I’d be happy to share more about my experience and why I think this could help other students at our school.
Sincerely,
[XXXX]
